Bridging Business and Through Agile: A Conceptual Model on Large- Technology Scale Saas Implementations
Main Article Content
Abstract
In large Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) projects, constant alignment of the business goals with the technology deployment is essential, as such that the operations will run smoothly, things will be done fast and consumers will receive further value. This paper will analyze Agile practices which in large scale SaaS settings change the relationship between business and technology. The proposed model, which is based on the literature, recognizes five foundational elements—Agile governance, the capability of continuous delivery, the integration of cross-functional teams, organizational learning, and alignment of business and technology. The hypothetical survey example in the paper illustrates the interaction between the constructs with a focus on the mediating effect of cross-functional collaboration and the moderating effect of organizational learning on the success of delivery. The conclusion is that, for large-scale Agile implementations, the value is in product alignment with the vision and the implementation of the processes as a key strategic capability. The research provides a model that has a practical value for organizations pursuing Agile SaaS transformations and is also provable in future research.
