Abstract

A person's level of happiness is a critical factor in determining their general health and productivity at work. Recognizing the importance of pleasure in raising work productivity and job satisfaction is vital in India, where the workplace culture is continuously changing. Those who are content with their lives typically do better at work, are more imaginative, and are more resilient to stress and adversity. Employee engagement, motivation, and commitment are all likely to increase when they feel happy and fulfilled at work. This results in higher output, improved job satisfaction, and lower employee turnover. Although the value of workplace happiness is becoming more widely recognized, many Indian firms still undervalue the value of employee well-being. In a nation where burnout and work-related stress are widespread, putting happiness first can significantly improve both employee productivity and the organization's overall effectiveness. As a result, it is critical for Indian businesses to understand how happiness affects productivity and to adopt proactive measures to foster a joyful and healthy workplace.
