Abstract

This study explores the adoption and challenges faced by menstruating women across various age groups in Ahmedabad in using eco-friendly menstrual products. Through qualitative research, thematic analysis is applied to analyze interview transcripts from 13 women belonging to different socio-economic backgrounds. The study identifies key themes. Findings suggest that while eco-friendly menstrual products offer sustainability benefits, several barriers hinder their widespread adoption. Policy recommendations and awareness campaigns are suggested to enhance adoption rates.
