Abstract

Beyond its beginnings as a children's book series, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series has grown to become a global cultural phenomenon. With a focus on its role in reviving contemporary fantasy literature, its successful transformation into a popular film franchise, and its enduring influence on global narrative patterns, this essay examines the transforming impact of Rowling's fantasy legacy. Rowling's contributions to transmedia storytelling through different spin-offs, theme parks, and theatrical plays are also examined in the paper, along with the difficulties brought on by criticism of her work and private scandals. This essay explores Rowling's impact on literature and film to show how her works have reshaped popular culture and inspired a new generation of artists.
