Abstract

The scope and prospects of mobile wallets in India are examined in this study using an empirical methodology. India has seen a rise in the use of mobile wallets as a result of its efforts to become digital and its expanding smartphone usage. The study looks at usage trends, user behavior, and the acceptance of mobile wallets at the moment. The main forces behind this adoption are recognized as convenience, usability, and security. However, the study also identifies a number of difficulties that could impede the country's further adoption of mobile wallets, including low knowledge and trust issues. The study's conclusion discusses the prospects for mobile wallets in India in the future, including potential advantages and disadvantages. Policymakers, business stakeholders, and scholars who are interested in the state of mobile payments in India can benefit greatly from the findings of this study.
