Abstract

In India, the proportion of women entering the labor has significantly increased in recent years. However even while the proportion of working women has increased, there is still a sizable disparity between men and women in terms of job possibilities, salaries, and promotions. In addition, women in India experience particular difficulties at work due to cultural expectations and gender-based discrimination, which might change how they view their careers. When considering a woman's job satisfaction and overall work performance, her attitude towards her job is a key component. Work-life balance, job stability, professional advancement, work atmosphere, and salary are just a few examples of the factors that can have a big impact on a woman's attitude towards her employment. To guarantee that Indian working women are empowered and receive the necessary support to advance in their careers, it is crucial to comprehend these issues. The attitudes of Indian working women towards their occupations are influenced by a variety of circumstances. It will investigate the effects of work-life balance, job security, career advancement, work environment, and salary on their motivation and job satisfaction. In addition, it will explore how gender-based prejudice, societal and cultural standards, and other factors influence how Indian women view their careers. Researcher had considered 144 women respondents to conduct the study survey and know the factors that affects working women attitude towards jobs and concludes that Professional advancement, Work atmosphere and salary, Work-life balance and Job satisfaction are the factors that affects working women attitude towards jobs.
