Abstract
This study aims to investigate the impact of regular participation in team sports within licensed sports clubs on the identification and orientation of athletic talents among children aged 6 to 12 years.
The research is based on the hypothesis that organized team sports within the club environment play a pivotal role in the early detection of psychomotor, social, and cognitive abilities such practices contribute to directing children toward sports disciplines that align with their individual characteristics
The findings revealed a statistically significant relationship between regular practice of team sports and the effectiveness of detecting early talent indicators
The study concluded with a set of practical recommendations, the most important of which are: strengthening the training of coaches in the field of talent detection and orientation.
