Quality of Work-life and its Influence on Employee Satisfaction: A Descriptive Study

Abstract

In recent years, the idea of Quality of Work-Life (QWL), which is related to employee wellbeing and work satisfaction, has drawn a lot of attention. The success of a business may be strongly impacted by employee happiness, which is an important aspect. To design methods that improve employee wellbeing, firms must thus comprehend how QWL affects employee happiness. This descriptive study looks at the link between QWL and several job-related parameters such job security, workload, work-life balance, and remuneration in order to investigate the impact of QWL on employee satisfaction. The study discovered that workers with high QWL levels expressed more organizational commitment, reduced turnover intentions, and higher job satisfaction. According to the findings, it is crucial to introduce QWL programmes to increase employee happiness and well-being.
