Abstract
In the contemporary digital landscape, there is an imperative need for innovative learning models that actively engage students in their educational journeys. The advent of digital technology has significantly transformed the methodologies of instructional delivery and how information is accessed and disseminated. Particularly in India, the proliferation of internet access and mobile learning technologies has prompted a reevaluation of traditional educational paradigms. E-learning has emerged as a promising solution for addressing the challenges of education in the 21st century.
This study undertakes a comprehensive evaluation of the impact of online classes on academic achievement, alongside the myriad challenges encountered by students in virtual learning environments. It underscores the nuanced nature of online education, which can detrimentally affect academic performance while simultaneously offering flexibility and reduced pressure. However, it is essential to acknowledge the potential for social isolation from this learning mode.
The primary objective of this paper is to investigate the implications of online learning on student achievement within college and to elucidate the opportunities for growth and the obstacles faced in online educational frameworks. Several critical factors impede progress in this domain, including inadequate digital infrastructure, concerns surrounding the credibility of online resources, and language barriers that hinder accessibility to quality education. The study collected data from 61 respondents.
In light of Bangalore's substantial increase in internet users, this exploration also seeks to identify potential future opportunities within the education sector, aiming to chart a pathway for advancements that could enhance the efficacy of e-learning initiatives. Through this investigation, the paper aspires to contribute meaningfully to the discourse on the evolution of educational practices in the digital age.
