Abstract

Social networking sites have become an integral part of students' daily lives, and their impact on academic performance has been a subject of debate among educators and researchers. This paper explores the impact of social networking sites on academic performance by reviewing and analyzing existing literature. The findings suggest that social networking sites can negatively impact academic performance by distracting students, reducing their study time, and affecting their concentration and motivation. However, social networking sites can also have positive effects on academic performance, such as facilitating collaboration and communication among students and promoting academic engagement and participation.
