Main Article Content
Abstract
In today’s fast-paced business world, embracing change within organisations has become essential to survive and thrive. Understanding employee readiness for change is critical for ensuring the effectiveness of these transitions. This research employs a dual approach—bibliometric analysis and systematic literature review—to explore the academic discourse surrounding employee readiness for organizational change from 1982 to 2024. The analysis was done using programs such as Biblioshiny in R studio and VOSviewer. The analysis of 188 selected articles reveals key themes, including the conceptualization of readiness, its measurement, and the variables most frequently associated with successful change outcomes. The study further examines the methodological approaches employed in research and identifies major gaps in the literature, highlighting areas requiring further investigation. By mapping the evolution of the field, the study offers insights into how employee readiness impacts organizational change efforts, providing both a foundation for future research and practical recommendations for organizations navigating change. This research serves as a valuable resource for scholars and practitioners alike, shedding light on the critical role of employee readiness in change management.
