IMPLEMENTING IDENTITY AND ACCESS MANAGEMENT (IAM) IN HYBRID CLOUD ARCHITECTURES: CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study looked at the problems and possible solutions that come up when using Identity and Access Management (IAM) in hybrid cloud systems. The study found important technical problems, like identity federation and access policy inconsistencies, as well as administrative problems, like following the rules and training users. It did this by doing a qualitative study that included a literature review, semi-structured interviews with IT professionals, and an analysis of organizational documents. The results showed that centralized IAM management and automated access controls made IAM implementation much more successful. Additionally, continuous user education was found to play a crucial role in maintaining compliance and reducing security risks. The study contributes valuable insights for organizations seeking to secure hybrid cloud environments through robust IAM strategies that balance technical integration and governance.
