Abstract

This research study examines the relationship between job enlargement, job satisfaction, and employee retention among non-teaching staff in private higher education institutions of Punjab. The research model is based on the Job Characteristics Theory and Social Exchange Theory, positing that job enlargement positively influences job satisfaction and employee retention. Data is collected through a structured questionnaire survey, and Smart PLS4 is used for data analysis. The findings offer valuable insights for organizations to implement effective job enlargement strategies, fostering a satisfied and committed workforce, ultimately enhancing employee retention rates and organizational performance.
